DaBomb,

Thanks for playing nice. I would say I’m more dumb school than anything else.

Are you going to do any Burncasts while at the burn? If so who are you going to interview?

Hey Scout...

I moved this discussion to a new thread, since it is a new topic. And besides, the other topic's event horizon had passed.

OK...good question. I actually have a very large list from Chai Guy who wrote me from his adventures on the Pacific Crest Trail of people he'd like to interview.

I'm putting feelers out there to see/hear what my audience would like to learn more about through BURNcast.

Any suggestions?

DaBomb,

If you are doing Burncasts from BM this year I would love to hear from or about the following:

Dr Megavolt (I don’t know if he will be there, but I always wanted to hear from him)

CampArtica (Interview the Ice Queen and others about CampArtica while it’s in action)

Coffee at Center Camp (Interview someone pulling coffee while the event is going on)

Big Round Cubatron (Interview the guy who designed and is building the Big Round Cubatron just because it’s soooooo cool)

Thanks DaBomb and all involved for your Burncasts. I look forward weekly to hearing what you are going to do next. Thanks.

Well, as it happens, I'm in the works to interview the Ice Queen herself during one of my shifts at Camp Arctica.

And I'm also working to get someone special at Center Camp Cafe. Stay tuned!

Working at Ice Camp is cool. (I know slap me when you see me) Me working Ice Camp this year too. Ice Camp is a great way to meet people. Even though I find myself in the bowels of the ice truck for the entire shift I still manage to find cool people there. (Sorry, really I am). Me, Ibdave and a virgin friend (yet to receive his playa name, but Ibdave and I know what it is…hee hee hee) will be working 2 shifts this year.

By you saying you are going to you are, “working to get someone special at Center Camp Cafe.” to interview do you mean you are going to interview someone who is differently abled? Remember I need help with all this lingo you kids have these days.

Has IQ made shift requests yet? I'm lurking on the Camp Arctica list, but I haven't seen anything. Maybe I missed it?

As for Center Camp, I just meant special as in wonderful and awesome. But since Chai is opposed to the sale of coffee at Center Camp, I'm wondering if the two would do an interview together. They have met at BM before and they were cool and civil. I'm hoping that they can do a dialogue at the event about commerce and the sale of coffee at CC per se. So, it's in the works and it may not happen. But I think it might be good if it does.

The Ice Queen sent out shift requests at least 3 months ago. I have not heard yet if I got the shifts I requested.

I think it would be great to have Chai and the special person do the report together. That way you get both sides of the debate. Or a good boxing match.

I would love to do a "on air" debate about the coffee thing at Burning Man!
