I’ve had 1 dream about being at Burning Man this year.
Burning Man had been moved to the Great Salt Lake in Utah. When we got there the whitest white man you have ever seen was greeting you saying, “Welcome to THE BURNING MAN.” They took your ticket and gave you a stall to park your rig in. When we parked we saw that it was a gigantic parking lot. There was no place to put a tent. Dave who drove us turned off his rig and just sat there and wouldn’t get out of his seat.
Within seconds groups of Mormon followers were knocking on the door asking us if we had heard the word of God. Ben (who is going this year for the first time) was asking, “Is this really what you were so excited about?” We would all yell, NO!!!”
After a bit we decided to take a look around, except for Dave who would not get out of his car seat. We walked down to the man that was made out of metal. There were carnival rides filled with very happy Mormons and unhappy hippies, punks and naked people.
I woke up after that in a cold sweat. I had to get up and walk around my house to make sure I would not fall back into that nightmare.
