ettiquette? not to throw a wet blanket, BUT... i was accosted by a kissing bandit, and requested not to be kissed (ok weird, yes. but i have a phobia.) i was then harrassed for about 5 minutes as to WHY i didnt want to be kissed by a purty girl. not fun. do you give sensativity training to your bandits?

this was in SF, and she was a bit "tipsy" but not drunk. she had a friend with her, and her friend started the "why not" conversation. heh. the one time i went to the "big city" to see what the city folk do at BM functions. apology accepted, no big deal... but it did put a crimp in my evening. *grump*

I'll bring this up at the Kissing Bandit discussion board. Thanks for letting us know. Is it OK to use your "name"?

P.S.

I attended and organized the KB Raid in SF. Lecter was there with me. Nobody met me at the appointed rendez-vous point at the scheduled time. Having said that, I was a solo-KB, running a mission without any backup.

It sounds like you encountered a renegade KB. I guess I'll have to start having the ladies carry their membership card! It doesn't sound like the girl that harassed you about it identified herself as a KB. Anyway...once again, sorry for the hassle.

tis ok... but she did say she was a KB. had a cape and mask and was prettily dressed. sure, you can use this nick. heh. i like it. i did see 2 or 3 KB's there and after my encounter, went to great lengths to avoid them. heh. large phobia. but i was a bit disturbed to have been harassed after saying "no". i remember thinking "so this is what its like to be a woman" LOL

apology accepted. no biggie, but even women need to learn that no means no. heh.now we gotta brow beat the frat boys!

I started the discussion on the KB discussion board. If you wish to follow it, click here: http://tribes.tribe.net/kissingbandits/thread/5a918cbe-d828-4928-af37-f98a24e52ec9?newpostingid=6eeccc58-5256-4741-994b-46b770f4c41d#6eeccc58-5256-4741-994b-46b770f4c41d

Thanks for the feedback, GOB!

Maybe someone saw DaBomb doing her solo mission and decided to participate on the spot?

i dunno. poop happens. i just thought i would mention it so she could emphasise the "no means no" rule. heh. now i'm just trying to get my nick on the heading of all the threads at once.

Geez, no wonder you're grumpy! ;)

So, is there absolutely no way men can be bandits? I guess, even in BRC, those default "rules" apply. Bummer.
