Anybody else enjoying the spectacle of Tribe's implosion over their new censorship ruiles?
Personally I think this is what should happen to all corporations that would rather cave in to unconstitutional laws than fight them.

I'm amused by this issue with Tribe. I was wondering when this would happen. Do you all remember the censor nazis of the old Friendster days?
It is their [Tribe's] business, so laissez-faire. It is also a free service, so they can do whatever they wish. With this brou-haha, you know a paid service is forthcoming, and how many people want to pay for their membership to Tribe?
It should be noted that the founder of Tribe, Mark Pincus, stepped down as CEO after Thanksgiving and a new CEO was placed. I think this explains a lot.
Anyway, the timing couldn't have been better. Lecter's NoSpectators.com launch dovetailed perfectly with Tribe's so-called implosion.
