i'm kinda pissed at you. in fact, very pissed. i just read over on the burningman tribe that you think that i'm "stupid" a sock puppet. i was looking for info on another person in the "matty nash" thread and came upon your comment "I'm starting to suspect Stupid is not in fact "Grumpy".
please note that your comment was written on march 9th. i found the subject distasteful, and stayed away from it (thats why i didnt notice it until today)
i want you to know that i have never been a sock puppet, and never will be a sock puppet of any type. if i think you are a asshole, i will say that to your face, and not hide behind anyone or anything. i dont hide behind online personna's, i am just me. a grumpy bastard. i wanted to keep my accounts from here and tribe seperate, and that is why i choose "grumpy". in fact, the reason why i choose it is because a good friend described me that way in my tribe profile. its not hard to figure out who i am over there. blade did months ago. i would think that my comments here over the past year would have made you realize this.
i'll be at Toast and Dark Skies if you are going to be at either we can discuss this. i guess me poking fun at you here has really pissed you off and (very obiously) you dont like me. thats fine. i have nothing against you, but you are very easy to get a rise out of, and i guess thats why i like poking you with a stick.
now for some info that very few people know. i am the person that caused the burningman tribe to be so heavily moderated. the sock puppets got to be so nasty and the mud slinging and name calling got so bad that i couldnt stand it any longer. i started writing jason and the TOU guy many many times, complaining about individual people and comments until jason got pissed enough to actually do something about it. so if i were a sock puppet, why would i do that? the bm tribe is a much nicer place to be now that the nasty people have been shut up or banned.
another thing... i wish this place would take off more... i really like the "nice" areas and "asshole" areas. there are clearly defined rules and very easy to follow.
so: as far as you thinking i am "stupid", nope. sorry to disapoint you, but i'm not. if i were i would tell you so. i dont hide, i am me. a grumpy bastard who likes poking sticks at pompous assholes just to see their faces turn red in denial.
