I know everybody has a thing for iTunes but could you guys make your podcast feed a little less iTunes specific so we can all grab it with the podcast software of our choosing?

Thanks.

If you take a look at the Burncast Tips and Troubleshooting page (http://nospectators.com/index.php?page=burncasttnt) (which is linked under every Burncast notice), then there are numerous ideas on how you can make the Burncasts work without the need of iTunes.

In particular, please take note of:

This URL should also work with any RSS reader that supports enclosures and the .m4a format.

nospectators.com/burncasts/burncast.xml

Each Burncast is also available as a plain old .mp3 and through a Flash player. (http://nospectators.com/index.php?page=Burncast_Player)

If all of the above still fail, then you have my deepest apologies, as there are limits to my expertise.

I did indeed try that but I get an error that the protocol itpc is not understood. I've subscribed to various other podcasts without an issue and I've listened to them all on my not-an-ipod. Any idea what else I can do? I know I can grab the mp3's but all of this rss stuff has made me lazy...

Thanks.

I did indeed try that but I get an error that the protocol itpc is not understood. Why did you use the itpc protocol?

Just use: nospectators.com/burncasts/burncast.xml

Or if your RSS reader needs it, add the http protocol:

http://nospectators.com/burncasts/burncast.xml

Which program and operating system are you using?

Well shite where did that come from? Seriously I looked around a bunch of times and didn't find that generic xml link anywhere.

Thanks a bunch...now I can take the BurnCast with me whilst I commute :)
