What Do You Do With A Burning Man Virgin???

This year my best friend who is a BM virgin is coming with me to Burning Man. What do you do with a BM virgin?

This is what my campmates did with/to me my first Burn:

Had me build our first camp mailbox

Rode me up to the front door of Jiffy Lube, stopped and asked me, “Are you sure you are straight?” When I said, “Ya” they told me, “You don’t want to come in here.” “Hear that buzz, that’s Mega Volt.” “Go find him; he puts on a good show.”

Run after the water truck naked.

I had a campmate named Sergeant Sissy. Sergeant Sissy would only go out at night after he put on a lot of makeup, army helmet, flack vest, army boots and a diaper. When he got back from being out he would ask me if I wanted to smell his diaper. (Every single night the same question)

What sights would you have your BM virgin see? What would you do?

We don't generally haze our newbies, though I imagine it might be a good way to get the energy going.

We generally sit down after setting up camp, over cocktails or bevs of choice and look through the What, Where, When guide to find out all the happenings strike the newb's as fun! Playa time being what it is, usually it's hit or miss... center camp is a key break the ice experience, and we [our camp] like to throw a block party with our immediate neighbors, and generally encourage our new mates into participating and interacting with the tribes. promenadingon the esplanade is also a must on our 1st night - then, they're all on their own!

Not too cute, but amazing to watch them, especially when they run off to explore and come back with their stories. it's great!

That’s why we are going to take him passed Jiffy Lube (or what ever it’s called this year) at least once or twice a day.

By the way, what is Jiffy Lube called this year?

I have a campmate that is what I will say very active at Jiffy Lube. He told me that the people that organize Jiffy Lube received a letter from the Shell oil company informing them that they had to quit using the name Jiffy Lube for their camp or be sued. Shell oil owns Jiffy Lube. I was told there would be a name change this year. That’s why I’m asking. Is it true or could it be yet another BM rumor?

There's been no discussion about it on the JiffyLube tribe, either about conflict or name change. Could be rumor. Placements have been noticed and everyone's planning the festivities with original name as far as I can tell by casual glance...

I was correct that there was no discussion, however there was a post regarding off-playa activities that had come to the attention of the Shell execs. So, according to the post, the new name for the camp is/will be:
